Swap cards

Today seems a quite sunday. I start the day just walking around my house. Not a very sunny day, a little chilly wind, but sometimes there was just enough sun to keep the temperature nice. After a few hours I just thought of the swaps I am in. I think I was to fanatic and there are four cards I have to make and send. Think about the fact that I had already made four cards to send. But yesterday I just forgot to tuck them in and post. Am I so forgetting things??

This card, a thank you card, will be sent to the USA.

So, for my swap partners I have to make two happy birthday cards and two cards of my own choice. Don't ask me where the mojo came from, but I started and knew exactly where I was going with these cards. Don't get me wrong; I'm so, so glad it went that way, because I have had that I started enthousiatically, but could not go on:) Most of the cards became a birthday card. Hey, I already started with that theme, so why not just carry on? hihihi. The images were already colored a while ago. So that made the job easy, peasy:) The striped patterned paper is distressed with Stampin' Up distress ink. The flower is handmade by me. Now I am hoping she will like the card:)

Card number two has to be sent to the USA. I love sending my cards throughout the world. The image is form a kids coloring page. The large strawberry on the hat of this cute girl and the strawberry on her watering can is covered with 3D crystal lacquer. Maybe you can see a glare.

The pink circle is embossed with the cuttlebug swiss dot embossing folder. First I put ink on the embossingfolder with my brayer. So overall the paper seems darker than the dots. Very nice to see the effect.

Card number three goes to Italy: a birthday card.

A very happy girl. This image is a digital stamp image from KennyK.

Finally, this last card I made today for a swap partner in the UK. I love the smile on this girl. It is a digital image from a kids coloring page.

This image is colored using Copic markers. I started with a set of twelve Copic ciao markers. My collection grew with the choice of Copic sketch markers. My collection is now more than thirty markers. Prisma markers is another marker I like to use, the prisma watercolor pencils and my box of nupastels. The last I do not use so often, but when in use I really enjoy them.
