Another chance to experience the technique of Tim Holtz. This morning I worked on the June tag and I have to send the tag today. Here pictures of my June tag and it is a lovely tag. Wishing you all a joyful weekend!

Light through the cracks

Not much to babble today. Just two art journal pages based on the title of this post. 'Light through the cracks is the title of Ann's art journal. I have older posts about the art journal round robin @ milliande. So I had to create a page in Ann's journal; it is a small book, so I created a double page. I like the title and I recognize it in my life. My Moleskine art journal was nearby and I did a page for myself. We have those days in our life and it is a relief if and when we see light coming through the cracks. Blessings to all of you ^_^

Profile based handmade card

I have to make a profile based handmade card. Since my partner loves dogs I decided to get help from my Cricut Expression. I choose the Create a critter cartridge, which has a couple of dog images. With further help of a Martha Stewart punch, patterned card stock and glue^_^

Clear stamp: 'Mixed sentiments' from Personal Impressions

An extra card for my partner, a postcard created with the masterboard technique using rubberstamps from Hero Arts, 'Doodle leaf flower' and ' Traditional butterfly'. I also used some clear stamps from an unknown brand. Ink pads used from Close To My Heart: colour Black, Juniper and Honey. On the back of the card I stamped a postcard images.

More practicing ...

Here two more cards. I practiced my Copic marker skills and I am not disappointed^_^ I used wonderful images from JadeDragonne. I love her drawings a lot!

Name image: Tea
Pattermed paper: 'Cupcakes' from Craft House

Name image: Headphones

Edit:
These two cards were also made to join the challenge at scrapbitzcopics.ning.com. The challenge is to Color the hair or fur in brunette/brown tones!!
I forgot to mention it and to add the link:-(

Have a nice day!

My experiences with Copic markers

My first set was a set of Copic Ciao markers and it is about twelve markers. I expanded with Sketch markers and I must say I prefer these. They are more comfortable to hold. I practice nice and good combination of markers for the skin tones and hairs. But I also practice to colour hair in a better way. This time I also used markers my Prismacolor pencils. For me the pencils are better to control, but I like to improve my colouring with Copic markers, especially hairs. I used several images s.a. sweetpeastamps and digital images.

These sweetpeastamps images are stamped on Gina K. luxury card stock.

Prismacolor pencils used, also on Gina K. cardstock.

I went for easy cards. Quick and easy cards, not too much added. Hope you enjoy this post:-)

Edit:
I forgot to mention that I made this card for the challenge at scrapbitzcopics.ning.com.

Raindrops are like fairy whispers

That is my journaling on this art journal page I coloured today. I did the drawing last weekend. I hope this Flower Fairy shares her fairy dust with all the people who needs it. To make her more lifely I added dots to her wings and stripes to her socks. I love her golden wings. Maybe you can't see it on the picture, but she has golden wings. Not much to tell today... we did have a very, very sunny day today. This year Spring acts very strange; so I enjoy days like today. With a lot of sun and warmth^_^ I hope you all enjoy your day.
