I used my Cricut cartridge ~ Sentimentals to cut a backing for the napkin front panel. Just a fun addition to the card.

Here I added a little extra on the inside of the notecard using scrap from the front layer. Just cute😊

For fun I also cut a key out of kraft paper, which I found in the Sentimentals cartridge. It is cut at 3 1/4". Finally I cut a greeting also from the Sentimentals cartridge using patterned cardstock; cut at 3/4". Both sent to my swap partner. I forgot to take pictures😞.

A happy Spring

The idea is to use the watercoloured piece on top of a card to once preference. So I painted a background using watercolours. I took time to let my creative juices flow!
I added a rubber stamped or clear stamped image on the background. I made sure I used an inkpad that's water resistant! I didn't want the ink to smear over my card! I like these colours a lot!

Two note cards from scraps

I'm not sure whether these are note cards or else. Well, these are cute cards and I made them with card stock and papers left for my previous handmade greeting card project. This post is meant to give you an idea on how I use my scraps, so that they're not left behind waiting in a bucket. I don't post all of my scraps and recycle projects, but most of the time I make little cards to give my scraps a destiny, better than the dustbin💖

Card making challenge #38

I am using cute papers for this card. It is the first time that I am using this deco block. The colours are matching and I welcome that, because I have to use two pieces of designer papers on this card. The base of the card should be of a darker colour. I didn't want to use my black card stock and I looked around in my stash. I once received a note card and I already had cut the note card to re-use the card stock of it. So this is a nice opportunity to do so. The card stock is almost black with dark brown old lettering. I will use this as a base for all the pieces and adhere it on the card base. The card base will be of kraft card stock but the dark base will cover the card base totally and will not be seen from the front of this greeting card.

Most of the time I have pieces of card stock and designer paper left. I create  small note cards with these pieces, just to use all papers:)
