Naturally cute

I have this awesome colouring book named Naturally cute by the illustrator Chris Miller. I choose to colour the first page, with the title Queency Crown. I'm happy to finally have a colouring book with my reflextions:))

I don't want to colour in this book with my markers, because the markers will bleed on the paper. So I  printed the first page on Make it crafty card stock. My intention is to print all fifty (50) pages and scan them. I will create my personal digital Naturally cute book, so that I can use the images for my card making. That will allow me to make the images smaller to fit cards, art journal pages and other artsy projects.

Reflextions, I love mycelf!

Time to be happy

I choose to make this card in black and white, because I was delighted to do some heat embossing. Yes, I just wanted to do some heat embossing and in fact I like to make cards with interesting techniques. Techniques I wish I tried more.

Spring is here!

I think Spring is here, but there are entities here blocking the SUN, which surely will have massive consequences, just wait! We have to expect really cold weather Saturday to next week;(( So I don't think I can celebrate. Luckily I can play indoors and watch the SUN coming up now and then.

The layer (designer paper) is an image of the ccr basics. I used the caterpillar image on the Create a critter cartridge and cut the card stock green and yellow at 3,5x1,625". The tulip is cut at 3x3,042". All images are cut with the help of ccr. Yes, ccr is still working, but I too many times I have to do an update and that is a downfall.

Art journal page ~ showers

This is another 8.5x11" art journal page and this month (April 2017) the heme is showers. When I think of this theme and the month April, my mind wanders to rain and umbrella's, flowers and grass. As a child I did not experience the season Spring, but most of the time I enjoyed playing in the rain and enjoying the then yet, clean and virgin water of the rain. I seldom used an umbrella, but hey...an umbrella suits this theme;)) But always hoping for sweet sunshine afterwards. Enjoy!

House ATC ~ second attempt

I've received a very nice house ATC from a swap partner and I got an idea of how these house ATC are made. It made me think about my own House ATC😂 and I wasn't happy with my first attempt. So there I went for another try. And I know that this is not the top of the roof, but I will progress:))
