Card Challenges

A moment for a challenge. This card was so much fun, that I created a second one. For the second card I used the other side of the designer paper. The designer paper is 12x12" double sided and from the Mix & Match "Victorian roses" design pad. It is so nice that I could use both sides of the paper, because of the coordinating colours. I didn't have to look and search (pffff...) for coordinating card stock and that saved  me a lot of time;)

I was to quick to make pictures, since I still had to add paper flowers to the cards:))

These are the finished cards with the paper flowers. In the middle of the paper flowers you can see a brad holding the flowers together. The flowers are cut using my cricut expression using the George basic shapes cartridge.

Measurements of the flowers: 3/4, 1 and 1 1/4". I cut three straight from the machine and for the rest I've used CCR, because I wanted to use all scrap paper from the sheet. But then I didn't have any more scrap paper from the designer card stock left and I didn't want to cut another sheet. What I did was using white card stock, also scrap paper, for the rest of the flowers. No small pieces of card stock left. The card still is cute! Smart, eh;-)

The greeting is a rubber stamp from Rubbernecker and the greeting on the inside of the card is a rubber stamp from Whiff of joy.

Greeting: rubber stamp from Whiff of joy.

The same goes for the second card. Both greetings are from Whiff of joy. Love these cards; they are so cute. And I didn't need a lot of material to make them.
