Card sketch #6

We are using a card sketch from TSG. I went for summer colours and a sunny greeting. The sun is shining for almost four days now and it feels great! Yes, I am in the Summer mood:))

Instead of a circle I used the Artbooking cartridge to cut this sunny circle. My first cut was at 2,5", but it was small. I had to turn the real dial size on. My second attempt at 3 1/4" was better. I used the smaller cut to embellish the envelope.

Partners for this swap in the Card Sharks group have yet to be assigned. So I do not know to whom I have to send. Surprise, surprise....

Notecard #3

The last card of the set of three handmade greeting cards. Main colours used yellow and purple. I used another Lady Sunshine digital stamp (Rory delivery of love) on this card.

Notecard #2

For this second greeting card I went masculine with the colours, the vintage clocks and heat embossing. On the top layer I used a rubbernecker background rubber stamp and Close to my heart ink pad ~ Star spangled blue; the vintage clocks and the vintage lettering are also rubber stamps from rubbernecker. The vintage clocks are hand cut; vintage lettering circle punched and laid on a scalloped punched circle. I kept the card manly simple embellished with the vintage clocks and the vintage lettering.

Notecard #1

It is nice to receive a note card or greeting card. A handmade card makes it more special. I have worked on three greeting cards. This is greeting card #1. I used a lot of card stock. The patterned card stock is a white card stamped with images. That makes a nice design to use as a layer. I received this patterned card stock in a swap.

The image is a digital image from Lady Sunshine ~ Rory sweet urchin and coloured with copic markers. I coloured this image, I guess, longer than a year ago .... I don't know exactly how long, but it has been a while. The card is embellished with die cut and coloured with a wink of stella brush pen. Now I notice that I forgot to add a gem on the flower:( Well... the card is already at the post office ... lol.

A simple white envelope, but to make it match with the card I added a nice sunny face on the envelope with an acrylix stamp and an orange ink pad. The sunny face is an acrylix stamp from Close to my heart. The used ink pad is also from Close to my heart ~ orange.

Beginner snail mail flip book #2

My second snail mail flip book and it is such fun to make. I printed some free journal cards and cut them with a scissor. The snail mail flip book is stuffed with die cuts, coloured sweet pea rubber stamps. Some fun paper clips are added also and a lot of washi tape. Thank you for visiting my blog!

Private swap 12 Tags of 2016 ~ April

Yes, it is my second decorated tag based on the techniques of Tim Holtz. I banned from the swap, because as a new swapper her profile was not filled. We've had a couple of swap flakers, so I am careful with participants without a well filled profile at swap-bot.
She sent me a message and it seemed that she was in the process of writing her profile. She also had her tag decorated and ready to be send. Awkward, isn't it? I offered her to swap with her, which will be a private swap. After some messages I set up a private swap. I am looking forward to her decorated tag. Now I have finished my decorated tag for her; here is it!

A decorated tag based on fabulous mix of techniques s.a. faux mosaic and paint resist and ink embossing. I am not so fond of mosaic art, but I do like the layered bird. I created to decorated tags using the same techniques and materials, but they are still so different and so unique!
