Mail Art Postcard ~ Spring

The giraffe cut at 4" using the Create a critter cartridge, the flower is cut at 3,5 and is from Cindy Loo. Greeting 'Hello' is rubber stamped with Ranger archival black ink, 'spring' hand written. The face of the kite is stamped with a peachy keen face stamp. The branch, grass plant and kite are from Create a critter.

It is waiting for the sun;) I love Spring and I need Spring to get more energy and to enjoy the beautiful trees, plants and flowers. I hope we'll get a Spring with a lot of sun and a super warm Summer!

Postcard black & white

It is always searching when it comes to colour scheme project. I decided to use rubber stamps - stamped with Ranger archival black ink, cutting dies - the fairy. I also used a cutting die, but I used it as a template to outline the bamboo. To finish the postcard I used spica gel pens (black for the stem of the bamboo), a fine liner, Close To My Heart ink pad - heavenly blue - for the shadows on the clouds and acrylic paints - black for the vase and white for shadows on the vase. The plant is also a rubber stamp and I embossed it with black embossing powder. Rubber stamps: rubbernecker - plant and viva las vegas - vase and it seems like a cactus plant. Die cut: fairy from joanna sheen - signature dies and a bamboo die.The postcard is larger than 4x6 inch, approx. 5x7 inch.

Beginner Flip Book - International

Not my first handmade book, but it is my first flipbook. This flipbook has three pages, well actually four, because I added a little flip. It was fun to make:)

Notecards from scraps

Using paper scraps and the negative of die cuts.

Another Tim Holtz's tag. Using card board, H2O, faber castell gelatos, Whiff of joy butterfly dies, Spellbinder dies (swirl), heat embossing, etc. I used the cut out butterflies to embellish the tag, after I heat embossed the butterfly on the top. The base butterfly has a layer of perfect pearls.

I couldn't follow some of the techniques, because I totally forgot to paint the underlayer before adhering it to the top card board. To correct my mistake I had to color the inside of the butterflies afterwards. All went well and instead of acrylic paints I used gelatos and H2O. That was really fun!

On the card board I used a rubbernecker rubber stamp, a Stampin' Up white ink pad and gold foil. Love the gold foil here and there on the tag:))

Handmade postcard using orange

I added a lot of layers (pieces of an old chinese newspaper). Then I added pieces of watercolour paper and colored the pieces with acrylic paint, acrylic paint dabber, glimmer mist. Then I stamped, heat embossed and finished the postcard with a tag.

We used a card sketch from Viva la verve. The designer paper is so nice and I decided to add real stitches to the card. A combination of Stampin' Up and Closte To My Heart die cut (butterfly) and stamp (greeting tag and cut with my Cricut).

A  "matching" envelope for the greeting card.

Thank you card

Still enjoying the yellow, white and black colour combination. The greeting is from the cartridge Storybook.
