12 Tags of 2016 - March

Another Tim Holtz's tag. Using card board, H2O, faber castell gelatos, Whiff of joy butterfly dies, Spellbinder dies (swirl), heat embossing, etc. I used the cut out butterflies to embellish the tag, after I heat embossed the butterfly on the top. The base butterfly has a layer of perfect pearls.

I couldn't follow some of the techniques, because I totally forgot to paint the underlayer before adhering it to the top card board. To correct my mistake I had to color the inside of the butterflies afterwards. All went well and instead of acrylic paints I used gelatos and H2O. That was really fun!

On the card board I used a rubbernecker rubber stamp, a Stampin' Up white ink pad and gold foil. Love the gold foil here and there on the tag:))
