Rainy days in Spring

Yes, we have some rainy days is Spring. It gives me time to stay inside, take a sketch bloc and some paint. So here I go again with an art journal page on an A3 page.

Haven't tried to work on a large A3 page; quite large and I divided the page to have a more comfortable feeling;-)

Handmade postcard

Just a scene on a Strathmore blank watercolour postcard (4x6"). Sent as a gift with the Black and White 5x7" art journal page.

Black and White

For the group Page by Page I made a black and white page based using the black and white. We have to add an embellishment on the page and a quote. I decided to add black to white card stock, although adding white to black is also very nice.

For this page I used white card stock, matte acrylic paint, black embossing powder, stencils, rubber stamp, clear stamp, Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad, ImagineCrafts sponge dauber, push pin, fine East Indian ink, dip pen, glue stick and glue dot.

Make me a shabby chic, vintage card

We have to make card for our partner in a shabby chic, vintage style. To give the card a shabby chic and vintage look I used lace ribbon and vintage patterned paper. The vintage patterned paper has a soft vintage pink colour.
Used: die cut, ribbons, vintage patterned paper, paper flowers, Viva decor pearl pen, black embossing powder, heat gun, tape, double sided tape and glue dots.

Used: five washi tapes, Papermania clear stamps, Vivalasvegas stamp - flower, Copic markers

Bubble wrap technique number 2

A swapper asked me to angel this swap that I host for her. She has some major family matters to take care of. I had some embossed card stock left from the card I made yesterday. So I thought to make the same card, a little bit different and in another colour. Using the same technique as yesterday, but making a green version of the card. There are still differences between these two cards. I used the same materials as yesterday.

Ingredients: bubble wrap, Close To My Heart ink pad 'Topiary', Close To My Heart clear stamps, sponge dauber, rhine stones, ribbon, card stock, double sided tape, foam tape.
I forgot to add on the list: double sided tape, embossing powder (holographic) and heat tool.

Then I made my version of the Tim Holtz tag of the month May. Quite some bits and pieces, but it all ended up in a beautiful tag. It is time consuming, though, but considering the fun making it is worthwhile:))

Colour Duo Mail Art Postcard: CHOICE

To create a postcard using two colours chosen by your partner. My partner choose the colours dark red and tan or cream. I went for the challenge and tried the colour tan. I have to say that I am not dissappointed:-))
