My attempt to do the Tim Holtz tag for the month January.
What did I do? I took some acrylic paint (grey), added a lot of water and did the Tim Holtz's technique, I stained the tag with the watered acrylic paint and mist some water on the tag. I don't have any metals from his brand and I also don't have his die cuts.
What I have is some metal paper/card stock. I used my Cricut - Art booking or Artiste cartridge - to cut out the wheels and circles. I even cut out a clock (Artise cartridge) and used it as a mask. You can see that I embossed the circle with a Fiskars embossing folder. I buffed the metallic pieces with a black Close To My Heart ink pad.
Instead of the rub-ons I used my acrylic stamps to stamp the numbers on the tag. I used a charcoal pencil an draw a thick black line around the circle. I finally took a quote of my collection of the Yoghi tea quotes and added it to the tag with staples.
I pretty much used all his techniques and did almost all his steps to create this tag. I hope my partner will enjoy it. Shipping to the Canada.
