New to Zentangling?

I joint this swap to try zentangle once again. Is has been a while since I explore doodling in this manner. I started right away. Exited as I was I finished the page to find out that my zentangle page did not met the swap description....lol. So I had to start all over again, but I don't regret it. I like my first attempt so much and I am sooooo happy that I can keep this page:) I do have to say that I am also in awe of the other two pages!

Each of these three pages measure 5x5".

Black and White

For the group Page by Page I made a black and white page based using the black and white. We have to add an embellishment on the page and a quote. I decided to add black to white card stock, although adding white to black is also very nice.

For this page I used white card stock, matte acrylic paint, black embossing powder, stencils, rubber stamp, clear stamp, Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad, ImagineCrafts sponge dauber, push pin, fine East Indian ink, dip pen, glue stick and glue dot.

Something like zentangle

Based on the prompt 'Confused (confusion) with journaling' I created this page. I love how this page came out. While working on the  page I thought of doing something like zentangle in her hair.

Prompt 2: 3-D page with the numbers of this year 2013 and a quote that suits you for this moment (add journaling).

Black & white Madness chunky pages

Chunky pages are fun to make. These are 4x4 inch pages and as the name says, I chunk or embellish the pages with ribbon, charms or cute chains. At the moment I like projects that do not take a lot of time. I made six pages. For the Black & white Madness 4x4 chunky page swap I created four pages to exchange. Two pages are for myself. After this swap I'll sort all chunky pages to see if I have enough for a nice chunky book to bind. If I have enough pages I will stop making these pages for a while and concentrate on art journals and paintings. After all, I wanted to try these pages out and collect some pages for one chunky book. And I am not a collector of all kinds of things...

It was fun to make, so I made two pages to keep.

Good news, good news!! My daughter just came in with the mail of today. I received two beautiful art journal pages from Mary@milliande (UK):-) The prompts for the month December are:
